Where is the depot?
We are in Quarry, Iowa, population 49, which is about the middle of the state, between Marshalltown and Tama, just off of Rt. 30 (Lincoln Hwy) See us at GOOGLE MAPS.
Who built the depot?     It was built in 1868 by a man named George Kirby who was also the local quarry owner.
Do trains still run there?
Yes, although the depot is no longer serving passengers, The double main line is about 60 yards back and still active 24 hours a day.

Is it open to the public?
Currently it is a private residence, but feel free to stop by and take pictures.  Future plans are to convert it into a museum
